Tony is a 2002 graduate of the University of North Texas where he received a bachelor’s degree of Applied Arts and Sciences in the fields of Sociology, Kinesiology and Criminal Justice. Prior to graduating from the University of North Texas he received an athletic scholarship to Stephen F. Austin State University. Tony later went on to play professional football with the Houston Oilers in the National Football League prior to the team relocating to Nashville, Tennessee and becoming the Tennessee Titans.
Tony has been a member of the Dallas Police Department for over twenty-eight years. In 1996 Tony was awarded the Meritorious Conduct Award as well as the Johnny Sides 1997 Rookie of The Year First Runner-Up Award for his services to the community. He also received the Shining Star Award twice during his tenure as a member of the department. In March of 2015, Tony was recognized as Officer of the Year by a community service organization known as Sons of The American Revolution. He is currently assigned to Dallas Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC).
